8th Grade Ensemble The Eighth Grade Percussion Ensemble is designed to provide the 8th grade percussionist with a concert ensemble experience. This ensemble serves as a feeder for the highly acclaimed Mt. Lebanon High School Concert Percussion Ensemble. Students have the opportunity to perform on a wide variety of percussion instruments and experience the rehearsal techniques that are used at the high school level. The Eighth Grade Percussion Ensemble rehearses once per week (Wednesday's 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.) during the months of March, April and May. The ensemble then performs as part of the Mt. Lebanon Percussion's popular Evening of Percussion Concert Series in late May. This ensemble is open to any 8th grade percussionist. Registration forms will be passed out by the Middle School Band instructors during the month of January. Simply fill out the form and return it to your band instructor. The Eighth Grade Percussion Ensemble is directed by Richard T. Minnotte, Director of the Mt. Lebanon Percussion.
